Public Expenditure and Financial Accountability (PEFA)

The global objective is to support Albania in its PFM reform through the conduct of a PEFA assessment.

The specific objectives are:

1. Conclude a PEFA concept note in line with PEFA requirements
2. Ensure sufficient capacity building of GoA staff on PEFA methodology
3. Support the set-up of appropriate management and peer review structures for the PEFA
4. Conduct the PEFA in line with PEFA requirements and specific provisions set out in the concept note
5. Ensure appropriate dissemination and communication around the PEFA
