Detailed description of the project: 

Overall Objective: The project aims to empower young people in Lezha Municipality by strengthening their role in local development through practical digital skills training, career development support, and freelancing guidance. By equipping them with tools for today’s job market, the project will help youth access sustainable economic opportunities and active participate in the social and economic growth of their communities.

Specific Objectives:

SO1 - Train and equip 60 youth (aged 15–29) from Lezha Municipality, with at least 50% women and 30% from rural areas and disadvantaged groups, with practical digital marketing, freelancing and career development skills, resulting in at least 50 youth successfully completing the training and mentorship cycles and producing job-ready CVs, LinkedIn profiles, and published freelance profiles. 

SO2 - Facilitate local economic and professional integration of youth by connecting at least 30 trained participants with local businesses and organizations through matchmaking and mentorship activities

The services covered the design, implementation, and delivery of an integrated youth employability and digital skills programme, combining outreach and selection, structured online training, mentoring, and labour-market linkages. The intervention aimed to equip young people with market-relevant digital, freelancing, and transversal skills, while strengthening their career readiness and connections with local businesses and organisations. Concretely the deliverables included: 

  • Design and implementation of an online outreach and trainee selection campaign
  • Development and delivery of online training curricula and learning materials
  • Organization and facilitation of a project onboarding and orientation event
  • Delivery of training on social media management and digital content creation
  • Delivery of training on artificial intelligence (AI) tools and digital productivity
  • Delivery of training on online freelancing platforms and transversal soft skills
  • Facilitation of mentorship circles on CV development and European career pathways
  • Organization of a matchmaking event with local businesses and organisations
